How it works

Three habits. One readiness score.

Log your flights

30 seconds after engine shutdown — or import your whole logbook from a CSV. §61.109 requirements total themselves.

Practice daily

A 5-question session tuned to your weak areas. Multiple choice for the written, reveal-and-self-grade for the oral. Every question cites its FAA source.

Watch readiness climb

Hours, knowledge, maneuver grades, and paperwork roll into one score you and your CFI both see. No more guessing if you're ready.

One app, the whole picture

Everything your training needs to stay on track

Most tools do one piece. MyFLTTraining connects the logbook, the knowledge, and your instructor into a single readiness picture.

📋

Track

A real digital logbook that does the math the FAA cares about.

  • §61.109 hour requirements, totalled automatically
  • ACS proficiency task by task, currency & endorsements
  • One-click CSV import from any logbook
  • Milestone badges — first solo to checkride
🧠

Learn

A daily, Duolingo-style engine for the written and the oral.

  • Spaced repetition tuned to your weak areas
  • Written & oral readiness scores + mastery heatmap
  • Streaks that keep you coming back
  • Flag any question to ask your CFI next lesson
👩‍✈️

Instruct

For CFIs and schools who want readiness at a glance.

  • Roster dashboard with per-student readiness
  • Post-flight debriefs with 1–10 maneuver grades
  • Retention radar, transfers, document library
  • Weak-area signal — without seeing their answers

Built differently, on purpose

Scheduling suites manage the school's airplanes. Test-prep apps drill one exam. Nothing owned the question that actually matters — "is this student ready?" — so we built the layer that answers it.

🔒 Your record is yours, forever

Switch instructors or schools and your entire training history comes with you — always exportable. School-owned software can't offer that.

🎯 One composite readiness score

Flight hours + knowledge mastery + maneuver grades + paperwork in a single number. No other tool combines all four.

📖 Sourced, not guessed

Every question cites its FAA source (CFR, AIM, PHAK) and passes human review — never raw AI output presented as fact.

🤝 Teaching signal, not surveillance

Your CFI sees where you're weak by topic — never your individual answers or self-grades. Enforced in the database, not by policy.

Simple, honest pricing

Free for students. Fair for everyone.

No sales calls, no "request a demo." Public prices, self-serve signup, cancel anytime.

Questions

Fair asks

Is the free tier actually free?

Yes — free forever for students, no credit card. The full tracker (logbook, §61.109, ACS, currency, endorsements) never costs a student anything. Pro adds the unlimited knowledge engine and analytics.

I already have 30 hours in a paper logbook. Do I have to retype it?

No — download our CSV template (or export from ForeFlight/MyFlightbook/Excel) and import your whole history in one click. Column names are matched automatically.

Can my CFI see my answers?

Never. Instructors see topic-level aggregates — "weak on airspace" — not your individual answers or self-grades. That boundary is enforced by database row-level security, not just policy. The one exception is questions you flag to discuss.

Do I need to be at a flight school to use it?

No. Solo students and independent CFIs are first-class citizens. If you later join a school that uses MyFLTTraining, you connect with an invite link — and your history stays yours if you leave.

Where do the practice questions come from?

Written in-house from public-domain FAA source material (CFR, AIM, PHAK, ACS). Every question carries its citation and goes through human verification before students rely on it.

Your checkride is closer than it feels.
